Covid-19

At Pope Security Systems we are dedicated to your security, not just your home and business, but your health and safety as well. To that end, we are taking precautions and modifying our practices as quickly as possible to address the rapidly changing crisis of this global pandemic.

We are closely monitoring the health of all of our employees and their families to reduce the possibility of spreading the novel corona virus to any of our customers, or fellow tradesmen. We are also providing all of our field technicians with PPE and Sanitizer to prevent contamination of our fleet, any facilities or our technicians. Pope Security Systems is maintaining a flexible schedule to work with social distancing measures, to avoid working too closely with other trades or vulnerable populations. Each employee at Pope Security Systems has passed a comprehensive background check and has been vetted to be able to work in your home or business while you are away, not just for convenience, but to further social distancing and personal safety during this difficult time.

With so many of us impacted by the Covid-19 Pandemic, many of our homes and businesses are shut down to mitigate the spread of the novel corona virus. This unfortunately creates opportunity for crime. We at Pope Security Systems are reminding all of our customers to please arm their Burglar alarm systems any time they are away from their home or business.

Our office is currently closed to any walk-in traffic, please call our 24 hour line at 603-447-6704 for any assistance.

Tropical Storm Isaias

Here in the Mount Washington Valley we have recently been visited by Tropical Storm Isaias. This storm left plenty of damage in it’s wake, including long term power outages. All systems installed by Pope Security Systems Inc. have battery backup to carry them through for 12-24hrs. Because this outage lasted several days, many of the systems powered down. Now that power has returned to the Valley and surrounding areas, your alarm system has powered back up, however; that does not necessarily mean that everything is back to normal. Customers who have their communications derived from the cable companies VOIP system may have continued loss of communication as most of the modems have had to be manually power cycled to restore functionality. We also recommend that you inspect your homes for any power related losses, such as refrigerated or frozen foods. Please contact us at 603-447-6704 for any assistance with your alarm system and communicator to restore full functionality and protection of your home.
